Privacy & cookie policy

Last updated: 9 October 2026

This policy covers the website photon.agenticmarket.dev (the Photon home page and documentation). It does not cover the Photon software itself, which runs on your own servers and sends nothing to us.

The site is operated by AgenticMarket (agenticmarket.dev). For anything about your privacy, write to [email protected].

  • No advertising, no ad trackers, and we never sell or share your data for advertising.
  • Analytics run only if you choose “Accept all” or switch analytics on in Cookie settings. Before you choose, and after “Reject all”, no analytics code is loaded.
  • If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, we treat that as “Reject all” without asking.
  • You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

These make the site work and cannot be switched off. They do not identify you.

Name Type Purpose Kept for
photon-consent Local storage Remembers your cookie choice, so we do not ask on every page 12 months, then we ask again
starlight-theme Local storage Remembers light or dark mode, if you choose one Until you clear it
__cf_bm, cf_clearance Cookies, set by Cloudflare Protect the site from bots and abuse; set only when Cloudflare’s security checks need them Up to 30 minutes (__cf_bm); up to the challenge lifetime (cf_clearance)

We use PostHog to understand how the documentation is used — which pages are read, which links are followed, where people get stuck — so we can improve it.

Name Type Purpose Kept for
ph_<project>_posthog Cookie and local storage A random identifier, so visits by the same browser are counted once Up to 12 months
ph_*, __ph* Local and session storage PostHog’s working state (current session, queued events) Session to 12 months

With your consent, PostHog receives: the pages you view, the links and buttons you click, the referring page, your browser and device type, screen size, page performance measurements, and an approximate location (country and city) derived from your IP address. We do not collect your name, email address or anything you type into forms, and the site has no accounts.

If you withdraw consent, analytics stop immediately and the PostHog cookies and storage on this site are deleted from your browser.

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and request details to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies or any identifier for you, and only gives us aggregate numbers.

  • Analytics: your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time, which does not affect processing before you withdrew it.
  • Hosting, security and cookieless aggregate statistics: our legitimate interest in running a secure, reliable website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
  • Strictly necessary storage: exempt from consent because the site cannot provide what you asked for without it.
Provider Role Location
PostHog, Inc. Product analytics, only with your consent United States
Cloudflare, Inc. Hosting, security, cookieless web analytics Global network

Both act as our processors under their data processing terms, which include safeguards for transfers outside the EU and UK. We do not sell your data and do not share it with anyone else, except where the law requires us to.

Analytics data is kept for as long as it is useful for improving the site, and at most 12 months, after which it is deleted or aggregated so it no longer relates to any browser. Data is deleted sooner on request.

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act), you have the right to:

  • access the data we hold about your browser,
  • correct or delete it,
  • object to or restrict its processing,
  • withdraw consent at any time, using Cookie settings,
  • not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Because analytics use a random identifier rather than your name, include the approximate date and pages of your visit, or the identifier shown in your browser’s storage, so we can find the data. Write to [email protected]; we reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

The site is a technical resource for software developers and is not directed at children under 16.

If we add a new purpose or provider, we update this page, change the date at the top, and ask for your consent again before it applies to you.
